We want to take a moment to recognize MRA’s own Adam Anderson, Director of Alternative Investments, for his recent appearance in the CNBC Cures documentary, which aired on March 19, 2026.

We encourage you to take a few moments to watch the documentary and learn more about the challenges faced by children and families affected by rare diseases.

In the documentary, Adam and his family share the story of their son, Drew, who bravely battled Tay-Sachs, an incredibly rare and devastating disease with no current cure. Although Drew passed away at the young age of four, his life and legacy have become a powerful source of inspiration.

In the face of unimaginable loss, Adam and his family demonstrated extraordinary courage and resilience. Rather than being defined by tragedy, they chose to turn their grief into purpose, creating a lasting impact for other families facing similar challenges.

Following Drew’s passing, Adam and his family relocated from New Jersey to Florida, where he went on to serve in the Florida House of Representatives, now in his second term. Through his leadership, Adam helped advance meaningful legislation, including the Sunshine Genetics Newborn Screening Program, which expands access to cutting-edge early detection for rare diseases, giving families a critical head start in the fight for their children’s lives.

At MRA Advisory, we are deeply honored to work alongside Adam and to witness his journey firsthand. His character, faith, and unwavering determination reflect a true “will to win”, not for personal gain, but for the benefit of others.

We are truly inspired by Adam and his entire family’s strength and their ability to transform profound loss into a lasting legacy of hope for countless families.
