Alison Cogan, CPA

Director of Tax Services

She is the Director of Tax Services at MRA Tax Services, LLC, and helps incorporate tax planning and preparation within MRA Advisory Group’s mission to simplify financial services across generations. Alison is a CPA with over 25 years of public accounting experience.

Her prior experience includes working at a Big Six public accounting firm, and then several northern New Jersey public accounting firms from 1996 to 2015. She opened her own CPA firm in 2005 and joined MRA Advisory Group in 2015. She is a member of the NJCPA and AICPA and received her B.S. in Accounting in 1994 from Seton Hall University.

Outside of her employment, Alison is the Vice President of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education, the Treasurer of the Parsippany Soccer Club, and an active volunteer with The Seeing Eye.

She earned her AICPA Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation in January 2022.

She lives in Parsippany, NJ with her husband and five children.
