Beth P. Wahlig - My Story

Beth is Director of Sustainable Investing and Private Wealth Advisor with MRA Advisory Group. She has 28 years of experience managing investment portfolios in equity, fixed income, and alternatives. Beth specializes in wealth management, financial planning, and asset protection planning. Her practice is focused on educating and helping women build a financially secure future. She has developed a Women & Wealth program that focuses on women’s lifestyle choices and prioritizing specific financial goals.

 She offers thematic Sustainable Investment Portfolios that have an impact in creating a more progressive economy while protecting the environment. The investing approach focuses on companies that lead in environmental policies, renewable energy, water resources, sustainable agriculture, innovative products, community involvement, and healthcare discoveries.

 Beth has extensive investment experience as a portfolio manager in institutional asset management in New York City at Shenkman Capital and General Motors Asset Management. She was a high yield bond portfolio manager for 14 years. She received her MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and holds FINRA Series 63 & 65 licenses.

 In her free time, Beth enjoys hiking through the woods, kayaking on freshwater lakes, collecting Early American antiques, and reading literature.
